Who is responsible

TANTEI is owned and operated by Sabir Elawad, based in Canada. Sabir Elawad is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at sabirelawad777+tantei@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and display name, plus a profile picture if you upload one.
• Game data: cases closed, scores, streak, badges, room activity and in-progress investigations.
• Purchase records: a reference to your order so your unlock stays attached to your account.
• Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service running and secure.

Why we use it

To run your account, save and sync your progress across devices, show leaderboards and multiplayer rooms, grant purchased access, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers.

Who processes it

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
• Paddle.com Market Ltd — merchant of record; handles payment details, which we never see or store.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.

Cookies and local storage

We store a sign-in session and your local game progress in your browser. These are necessary for the game to work; no advertising or analytics cookies are set.

Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account exists. You can access, correct, export or delete your data — including full account deletion — by emailing sabirelawad777+tantei@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

TANTEI is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
