TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Who we are

TANTEI is an online detective investigation game owned and operated by Sabir Elawad (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietor based in Canada, available at tankie.app. When you use TANTEI, you are contracting with Sabir Elawad.

2. Your account

You need an account to save progress, join rooms and appear on the leaderboard. Keep your credentials private; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to sign up.

3. Free play and the unlock

The first two case files are free. A single one-time payment of USD $20 unlocks every remaining case file in the archive, including cases added later, for the lifetime of the service. There is no subscription and no purchasable in-game advantage.

4. Payments

Orders are handled by our reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd, the merchant of record. Paddle collects payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Their terms apply to the transaction itself.

5. Acceptable use

Do not cheat, automate play, resell access, publish case solutions, harass other players, or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Content

All cases, artwork, text and audio in TANTEI are fictional works owned by us. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to play them, not to redistribute them.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the game online but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or retire cases and features. If we materially change these terms, we will update the date above.

8. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
